FOCUS : LIGHTING
Lighting Concept:
My Lighting concept is to create a home away from home by using lighting to design an atmosphere with warmth and comfort. While also using natural light and creative elements to best address the needs of the community and staff. This will give them the essentials for a sufficient quiet space as well as community area.

AREA OF CONCENTRATION
In the near future The Chapel is going to redesign this building (extending it by 20ft and making it 3 stories).
In this building they want to have the offices for the international and college ministry, storage, an industrial kitchen, the Common Grounds, a computer lab, and classrooms.

CONCEPT
My concept for this project is to keep with The Chapel’s mission of extending love and compassion to all. This will be shown through the welcoming, comforting, and warm atmosphere. By using natural light and bringing nature into the space it will make the users at ease and comfortable in the space. The design should have these qualities along with creating an efficient space for the desired purposes. It will allow the users to utilize the spaces as they were meant for with ease by actually encouraging that activity.
